WFWP believes in the power of education to change lives. With digital information technology holding the key to gaining knowledge, the computer serves as an essential tool in education. This poses a challenge to students from underprivileged families who cannot afford laptops.

The pursuit of tertiary education will end in failure for students without laptops as they struggle to cope with presentations and assignments using smart phones.  

The “Give Me A Chance” Education Empowerment Programme seeks to obtain pre-loved laptops from willing and kind donors and these laptops are passed on to needy college students after refurbishment.

Since 2021, WFWP has provided refurbished laptops to more than 30 students enabling them to successfully pursue further education. Laptops provide curriculum support and easier access to online information, help students keep track of their assignments, makes it easy for them to take notes during lectures, and enable them to complete their work assignments at a quicker pace.

Laptop usage also facilitates communication between teachers and students, thereby increasing positive interaction between them.
